Do you need to organize information in Google Docs? This highly requested feature lets you split table cells in Google Docs easily. 

How to split cells?

1. Open a Google Docs document 

2. Create a table with cells

3. Right-click the cell 

4. Click Split cell 

5. Enter the number of rows and columns you want

6. Click Split

Availability: Available to Google Workspace Customers.

Timeline: 

Rapid Release: Extended rollout starting on October 17, 2022. 

Scheduled Release: Gradual rollout starting on October 31, 2022.
