17.8.2022 I Google Docs
Tasks are integrated into several Google tools. Have you noticed that Tasks appear on your Calendar and that you can get easy access to Tasks from the right sidebar of Gmail? This is truly a tool worth trying! You can now assign a checklist item in Google Docs to yourself or a colleague. It will then show up in the assignee’s Tasks list. And if you add a date to complete the task it will automatically show up in the assignee´s Calendar.
When edits are made to an assigned item in Tasks, such as a change to the title, due date or completion state, those updates will show in the Doc, and vice versa. Notice that you have to have edit-access to the Doc to create or edit a task.
